MAA MEMBERSHIP is a tangible way to show
support for your alumni association. Dues are collected each year to
finance the operations of the Medical Alumni Association. As an independent
foundation affiliated with the university, but not funded by the school
or the state, we depend on the membership of alumni, faculty and friends
to continue our endeavors.
BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP include receipt
of the Bulletin magazine, a quarterly journal which keeps alumni in touch
with their classmates and abreast of current campus information. Membership
also provides invitations to reunion celebrations and out-of-town gatherings,
in addition to borrowing privileges at the new medical school library.
And, members are asked to take an active role in the Association by voting
on important issues at the annual business meeting
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP dues is $85 for alumni,
faculty and friends of the association. We also offer a discounted membership
for $25 to young alumni who have graduated within the last five years.
An emeritus membership is available for those who have graduated 50
years ago or more, or who have reached the age of 70. Emeritus members
are no longer required to pay dues, although many choose to continue
sending a membership payment in an amount comfortable for their budget.
Finally, as a welcome gift to our most recent graduates, the board
of directors has decided to provide the first year of membership to
graduating seniors without cost. To become a new member of the association
